Where are we?

We are situated in the town of Coín, designated as a mountain complex of special environmental interest, and are on the borders of the Sierra de las Nieves National Park.

Coín is surrounded by Andalucian hills and mountains, which hold rivers and their valleys through which the rides will take you, amidst orange and lemon trees, forests, as well as vast open spaces.

The town itself is full of life and is always busy - plenty of bars, restaurants, arts and crafts and shops of all kinds. You can visit the Saturday market and of course the various and numerous fiestas which the town enjoys with music, costume and where you can try the local food and drink. You will be very pleasantly surprised by the inland prices versus coastal prices ;-) !

Every 2 years, in April , Coin hosts a specialised pedigree Spanish Horse breeder's show, called: SACAB Coin. It's a great event filled with local traditions and with the Pureblood Spanish Horse at its centre. See also our News page.

Coín is actually situated only 30 minutes drive from Malaga International Airport, from Marbella and Puerto Banús and from the beach resorts of Fuengirola and Benalmádena. Also day trips to Sevilla, Granada, Ronda and Gibraltar are within easy reach.

We are only a 5-10 minute (uphill) walk away from the town centre of Coín and the same distance to the bus station from where you can easily take the (frequent) bus to Málaga or Marbella, Fuengirola and Mijas. You are in Málaga for a little over € 4 per person.

We offer free airport transfers from/to Málaga airport.
For those guests who would like to explore further afield - it would be advisable to rent a car.
